“FEMALE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH A LAND-BASED FLAVOR”
AMFAR.- The Federation of Women and Families in Rural Areas, with funding from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food , is developing the RURAL WOMEN Program, protagonists of Rural Development, which is part of the line of subsidies to rural women's entities at the national level called by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food for the 2025-2026 period, approved by Royal Decree 921/2024, of September 17.
This program aims to promote training activities that strengthen women's leadership in rural areas, encouraging their active participation in the economic and social development of their territories, as well as improving their working and living conditions.
Within the framework of this program, AMFAR is organizing the event: “FEMALE ENTREPRENEURSHIP: ENTREPRENEURSHIP WITH A LAND FLAVOR” which will take place next Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Popular University of Valdecaballeros (Badajoz).
The purpose of the event is to offer practical information and useful tools for the creation and consolidation of businesses in rural areas, addressing key aspects such as the incorporation of women into the agricultural sector.
Rural women are an essential pillar in shaping the territory and combating depopulation. Their entrepreneurial spirit, capacity for innovation, and commitment to their environment are fundamental to ensuring a dynamic, competitive, and sustainable rural landscape.
With this initiative, AMFAR reaffirms its commitment to female entrepreneurship as a strategic engine for the economic and social growth of rural areas.
