On April 15th, we will be holding a conference dedicated to agrivoltaics in the Valencian Community , combining technical analysis, real-world case studies, and a discussion on its economic viability. The session will begin with a visit to the Picassent Solar agrivoltaic facilities , where participants will have the opportunity to see firsthand the integration of agricultural production and photovoltaic generation. Following the official opening, the current state of agrivoltaics will be addressed, and success stories will be presented.
The second part of the event will focus on two panel discussions: one on the challenges and opportunities for scaling up agrivoltaics in our region , and another dedicated to its economic viability, analyzing investments, returns, risks, and lessons learned using real data . The day will conclude with a networking session aimed at fostering collaborations between farmers, cooperatives, technology companies, and energy developers.
The event will feature the institutional participation of the regional secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and the director general of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the Valencian Government.
